Review highlights
Based on 92 reviewsRestaurant Peysk in Frankfurt am Main consistently receives praise for its exceptional seafood dishes and high-quality ingredients, showcasing the chef’s technical expertise and creativity. The intimate, cozy setting with an open kitchen fosters a warm, casual atmosphere ideal for small gatherings or special occasions. Guests frequently highlight the thoughtfully curated wine list, notable for its unique and natural selections that complement the cuisine. While the personalized service adds to the overall experience, some reviews note occasional slow service due to the chef’s hands-on involvement in both the kitchen and front of house. Despite this, the attentive and welcoming environment, combined with outstanding food and a refined dining concept, positions Peysk as a well-regarded destination for discerning food enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable culinary experience.
Fantastic fish and seafood restaurant with a well curated wine list beyond the well known labels, heavy on natural wines.
Beautiful small restaurant, well worth a visit! When we went the chef was struggling with service (not sure if they were missing a waiter, he was trying to do front of house and kitchen himself so it was a little slow) - but the incredible food and warm reception MORE than made up for it so we’d recommend despite that! We will be back for sure :)
Amazing food (extremely high quality and prepared in n excellent manner). Not a surprise that Peysk is recommended by Michelin
A must-visit for true foodies and seafood lovers. A small chef's restaurant with a warm and casual atmosphere. The open kitchen is a highlight. The food is special: creative, high quality ingredients, refined sauces, great technique, rich flavors. The wine selection is also great for such a small place (you find there rather complex and unique wines hence the price). A true hidden gem.
This cuisine is an ode to the chef heritage and technical expertise! A small restaurant perfect for a conversation between a couple or a few friends, cozy to welcome a small group if you need to celebrate a life event. Its the chef's choice, you are in his temple, he will be your sommelier, your baker , your waiter and your guide into that evening at Peysk. The winelist is careful cured to accompany the cuisine that is mainly fish and seafood, but sometimes sprinkled with meat at the end of the dinner. Every sauce has a "je ne sais quoi" complexe enough to make you wonder if you ever had such a combination prior in your life. Enjoy the moment, enjoy every bite, just enjoy! Also my picture doesn't do justice to the plates, I am a terrible photographer.
Didn’t know what to expect. Thoroughly enjoyed this upscale but delicious, interesting and perfect collaboration. Everything so fresh. I would never think to give a coconut taste into my mussel sauce but it was so good. Something different. Was stressed I couldnt download a menu beforehand, but you served me well. Also, no wine list. Shocking, but you asked what we liked and found the perfect match. I have recommended it to others and we shall return.
A fun evening with the rain playing games with our outdoor seating that Saturday evening. We were served very well and made to feel at home by Chef David. He took care of all the guests personally. Great menu choice, anmazing fish dishes and some lip smacking wine (selected by the Chef). Do visit
Some of the best seafood I have ever eaten, and all presented perfectly. Wine is also top, would 100% recommend.
